Outsourcing – India

Hello everyone!

I have just watched the trailer of the movie „Outsourced“, which talks about the cultural differences between American and Indian business life. Today I want to give you some information about the movie regarding the employees culture and outsourcing.

Basically what it talks about is that an american guy, who is travelling to Mumbai should learn the people, who are working in the call center, the American culture and mentality. The employees there have an own cultural identity and it is difficult for them to learn the American style. Typical Indian topics like the holy cows or the colourful Holi-festival also play a significan role in the movie.

I think it is a very interesting topic, as outsourcing is getting more and more in the future.
