My favourite way to shop

Today I am going to talk about shopping, mainly about online shopping and which type of shopping I like most.
Let’s get started!


As you know, a lot of people shop online nowadays. They prefer it because they can shop everytime, as well on Sunday and in night. They do not have to drive one hour or longer just to get to the next big shopping mall. Many people think it is better because they don’t have to walk in so many stores, if they need a special product.
A positive thing about online shopping is that you can buy so many products as you want and usually, you can send them back easily.

 

Shops in Austria are usually open on six days a week. One day, normally on Sunday, of rest and one day, usually Saturday, shops are only open until midday. The opening hours during the week depend on the store. Most of the stores are open from 9am until 6pm. During this time some stores also have lunchtime that means that the shops are closed for at least half an hour or more.


My favourite way is to shop in a shopping mall or at a pedestrian zone. In my mind it is very costly to order things from the internet and send them back, because clothes usually don’t fit well. If you shop in a shopping mall, you can try clothes. To go shopping in a shopping mall or at the pedestrian zone can be arduous. I am quite tired at the end of the day, when we ran from store to another.

But I think online shopping is very good, if you need things which you don’t get in stores which are near.

Hello everyone! I have just watched the trailer of the movie „Outsourced“, which talks about the cultural differences between American and Indian business life. Today I want to give you some information about the movie regarding the employees culture and outsourcing. Basically what it talks about is that an american guy, who is travelling to Mumbai should learn the people, who are working in the call center, the American culture and mentality. The employees there have an own cultural identity and it is difficult for them to learn the American style. Typical Indian topics like the holy cows or the colourful Holi-festival also play a significan role in the movie. Fire Brigade

Fire Brigade   I am member of the voluntary fire brigade Hinterberg. It is one of the three fire brigades in my village Tragwein. The voluntary fire brigade Hinterberg has about 70 commitments a year. There are 195 members in my fire brigade. At the moment we are 15 teenagers in our group at the age of 11 to 16 years. Since last year we have four new coaches. We train especially in spring and summer to prepare for the following season which is during May and July. At the voluntary fire brigade Hinterberg we have three groups of adults. One of them is very successful. During a competition we have to take part at two different types of parcours. They are called attack and relay race. The time of these two competitions will count together and will convert to points. The group with the highest number of points is the winner. Thanksgiving

Hey guys! We were talking about Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday in school today. British people celebrate these days respectively on Friday, Saturday and Monday in one week. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are essentially the same expect the date and how the shop sell cheap offers. Black Friday offers cheaper products in shopping malls on Friday and Cyber Monday offers cheaper products online on the following Monday. In general the products are 30-60% cheaper. On Black Friday and Cyber Monday you are able to make the best deals, because almost everything is quite cheap. The background idea of these two days is that people start to shop earlier. It is every year on the fourth Thursday of November. First nation-wide Thanksgiving was proclaimed on 26 th of November 1789 by George Washington.
